Discovering, Stewarding, and Using What God Has Given
by Scott Bates

What if everything you have—your abilities, opportunities, and spiritual gifts—was given with purpose?

In Gifted by Grace, Scott Bates invites you on a transformative journey to discover how God has uniquely designed you to live, serve, and grow. Rooted deeply in Scripture and rich with practical insight, this book explores the truth that every gift—whether visible or hidden, spiritual or practical—comes from a generous God and is meant to be used for His glory and the good of others.

More than just identifying your gifts, this book challenges you to move beyond self-discovery into faithful stewardship. You’ll learn how gifting connects to calling and purpose, how to grow and develop what God has placed in your life, and how to avoid the common pitfalls of pride, insecurity, or comparison. Each chapter builds a clear, biblical foundation while offering real-life application for everyday living.

Inside, you’ll discover:

• How God gives each believer unique gifts with intentional purpose
• The difference between natural abilities and spiritual gifts—and how both matter
• How to discern, develop, and faithfully use your gifts in community
• Why gifts are meant for service, unity, and building up others
• How to keep Christ at the center so your gifts become an act of worship

Perfect for personal devotion, church discipleship, or small group study, Gifted by Grace also includes a complete small group curriculum and a practical spiritual gifts assessment to help you move from understanding to action.

If you’ve ever wondered, “What has God given me—and how should I use it?”, this book offers a clear, encouraging, and biblically grounded answer.

Your life is not empty-handed.
You are gifted by grace—and called to use it well.
