Welcome to Castleberry, Georgia!
Settle in with a cup of sweet tea and let me tell you a ghost story.

I’ve got a secret. I see ghosts.

I haven’t always seen the dead. It happened after I took a tumble down a flight of stairs and bumped my head on an expensive marble floor. Since then, apparitions keep popping up in the strangest places, and they’re pretty demanding.

Take the ghost at our local BBQ restaurant. Rumor has it she’s been dangling from a rafter there ever since her father found her. I’d yet to meet anyone that actually saw her, other than me, of course, and I had the toughest time figuring out what she needed. But when the owner of that restaurant wound up dead, and I was the last person with him, I needed my new ghost buddy to help me find the real killer. And the only way to get her help was to get to the truth surrounding her death.

Now I split my time between my son, my job at the local historical society, and ghosts.

Oh, and the police detective who gets my heart rate up every time I see him? He gets a little of my time too.

I’m Chantilly Adair, and I’m your connection to the dead. Welcome to my world.

If you like Southern or paranormal cozy mysteries, you’ll love this first book in the Chantilly Adair Paranormal Cozy Mystery Series.

Carolyn Ridder Aspenson writes sassy, southern cozy mysteries featuring imperfect women with a flair for telling it like it is. Her stories focus on relationships, whether they're between friends, family members, couples, townspeople, or strangers, because ultimately, it's relationships that make a story. Now an empty-nester, Carolyn lives in the Atlanta suburbs with her husband, two Pit Bull-Boxer mix dogs and two cantankerous cats, but you'll often find her at a local coffee shop people-watching (and listening.) Or as she likes to call it: plotting her next novel.
