We all encounter things in our lives that we would rather avoid. A difficult co-worker, traffic jams, unexpected bills, getting sick and so on. The list of things that cause us physical, emotional and spiritual turmoil is endless. The Fruit of the Spirit Workbook is a guide to help you see these events not as problems but as potentials to develop what Christianity calls the Fruits of the Spirit. These include things like love, joy, peace, patience and wisdom. On our spiritual journey we can find joy in adversity when we realize that in order to develop generosity, patience and forgiveness we have to have people and events in our lives that irate and challenge us. This is not an easy process but the rewards are endless. I encourage you to work through this book slowly and really put some thought into all the ways that you can take the problems in your life and turn them into a source of joy. Prisoners face an extraordinary amount of difficulties in their day to day lives. The purpose of the inmate edition of Fruit of the Spirit Workbook is to address specific issues unique to the prison population. I hope this book can help you find some peace of mind and encouragement during your incarceration.
