Frogville was a lush oasis until a traveling wizard cursed it. The lake became a dirty swamp, and all boys became frogs on their thirteenth birthday. When Lily Lotus Dillweed and her twin brother turned 13, it was she, as the oldest, who turned into the frog. The curse required a royal kiss to be broken, so Lily set out on a quest to find one. Along the way, she had many adventures. In the sixth installment of the beloved Frogville series, Lily finds herself in a fantastical world filled with colorful characters, beautiful scenery and...magic beans. In this modern take on a classic tale, Lily falls down a hidden well into the Underearth. In her quest to get home, Lily must ask the Garden Queen for permission to climb the magic beanstalk to return to the Overearth. Along the way, she meets Larry The Lawyer, who tells her he is defending a young man named Jack, who is accused of stealing the only magic beans left that can grow the beanstalk that allows one to climb all the way up to Overearth. When Lily tries to help defend Jack, the Garden Queen places her on trial. Now, Lily and Jack must evade the Garden Queen, retrieve the magic beans, plant them and hope the beanstalk grows, so Lily can return home.

Sharla J. Frost grew up in Frogville, Oklahoma. She went to law school, fought battles in the courtroom, then retired back home to raise cattle and write books. These days, most of her time is spent herding cats and cows. She thinks dragons are simply frogs who have grown wings and flown away. Oh, yes. Children are her favorite kind of people in the world.
