Is it difficult to make friends? Are your friends really your friends? Are you really your friends' friend?

Do some of your friends do or fail to do things that you expect a friend to not do or to do? Does it seem like they have forgotten what it means to be a friend or that they don't have a clue what it takes to be a friend, a real friend. Or do some of your friends get annoyed, maybe even upset with you for things you do or don't do? Could it be that you have forgotten or don't really know what it means or takes to be a friend.

If so, this book is for them and you.

Friends and Friendship: How to Make Friends and Be a Friend looks at what real friends do. It takes a look at 99 things that make someone a real friend and how to be a real friend. Things like:

• Friends help friends to see the truth, even if the truth hurts. A real friend will tell a friend how it really is, the truth, when the friend fails to see it themselves. By doing so, a real friend may....

• Want to make their friends laugh so hard that they pee or poop their pants. Real friends are fun to be with. They are fun to be with mainly because they get us, they know who we are and what makes us laugh. We can be ourselves, be goofy and let it all out....

• Friends help friends find solutions to their problems. A real friend is there and ready to help a friend with a problem. It might be a problem a friend recognizes on their own. Or it might be something a friend sees in a friend that the friend doesn’t....

• Give their friends total freedom to be themselves. They appreciate and accept us just the way we are. They don’t try to “improve” or “fix” us or try to impose upon us their beliefs, values or moral code. They never try to pressure us to be who we aren’t or do things that we don’t want to or would rather not do. They don’t care if we are odd looking, smell bad, never seem to comb or wash our hair, fart a lot, often pick our nose, wear old dorky clothes or even sometime walk around for days with a giant zit on our face or food in our beard (if we have one). They....

• Call before they go over to a friend’s home. We all enjoy the freedom to wear what we want to wear (or to not wear anything at all) when in the privacy of our own home. We also all enjoy the freedom to do things we want to do without others watching us doing them. A surprise visit from anyone can put us in an awkward or embarrassing situation. We might be....

and sets out 25 things friends should NEVER do, including:

• Talk about a friend behind their back.

• Waste a friend’s time by constantly showing up late, continually canceling appointments or not showing up at all.

• Give out a friend’s phone number, address or other personal details without first asking that friend if it’s OK with them to do so.

We all want to believe that we are someone's friend and that they are ours. We may think that we are a good friend but in fact we may not be. We may think that those we call a friend are our friend but in fact they might not be.

We all need to stop, observe and think about what we do and what those who we call our friends do so we can determine if in fact we are genuinely someone's friend and they ours. This Book helps the reader to do just that.

Friends and Friendship presents an easy to read fun but also serious look at things that many people seem to have forgotten about or fail to recognize in themselves that can interfere with being a real friend. It gives the reader the opportunity to review what it means and takes to be a real friend so that they can discover if the people they call a friend are really a friend, and if they are a real friend to their friends.
