Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: R. Guy Woolley is Emeritus Professor of Chemical Physics at Nottingham Trent University. In 1978 he was awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry Marlow Medal, and he was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society in 1995 'for fundamental advances in the proper description of molecules and their interaction with radiation'. He is responsible for the development of the Power-Zienau-Woolley transformation, one of the most widely used methods in molecular quantum electrodynamics.
