This book on age discrimination in the workplace draws on the experiences of over 100 people ages 50 to 70. It discusses the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act and gives advice to actual or potential victims (e.g., keep a dismissal diary). The authors acknowledge age discrimination as a societal problem; many interviewees conclude that some older people will have to settle for a lower salary or a job in a different field.
