Nothing makes Amalie, the beautiful granddaughter of Count Salzach's gardener, happier than spending her days among the flowers, making bouquets that speak without words through the complicated language of flowers. Until Karl, Count Salzach's godson, her childhood friend and playmate, returns. But the stern count fears that Amalie will follow in the footsteps of her mother, who was disgraced as a gold digger. The beautiful, rebellious young woman will not only have to defend her reputation, but also fight to be able to see her old Karl, who is suddenly looking at her with new eyes. Why can't everything be as simple as in the past? Or will the past come knocking at their door to reveal a terrible secret?
