Inhaltsangabe
This volume contains 29 reports on work which has been done between 1989 and 1992 within the Priority Research Programme "Flow Simulation on Supercomputers" of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Society), 1989-1995. Scientists from numerical mathematics, fluid mechanics, aerodynamics and turbomachinery present their research on flow simulation with massively parallel computer systems, on transition and turbulence, and on general solution techniques and applications. The topics include conversion of codes for massively parallel computers, visualization of results, large eddy and direct simulation of transition and turbulence, combustion, turbomachinery flow, hypersonic flow, structured and unstructured meshes and self-adapting grid generation.
