An unlikely hero. An unfinished ship. Humanity's last hope.

Ryan Anders has spent his life fighting for a place in a world that doesn’t want him.
Chosen by lottery to attend the Fleet Academy, he learned quickly that survival means knowing when to keep your head down.

Until the day the sky fills with fire.

Without warning, an alien armada descends, shattering Earth’s defenses and scattering its fleet in a storm of confusion and retreat. Amid the chaos, Ryan seizes an unfinished warship.

The plan is simple: get his friends clear of the slaughter. But the moment they break orbit, the plan is gone. Now they are cut off, flying blind, forgotten.

Their enemy does not speak. Does not negotiate.
And they will not stop until humanity is dust.
