Need a little love? Something to cuddle up with on those days when it seems like humanity has turned its back on you? Then you need Fleecie Pets. Make twelve adorable stuffed-toy animals using soft, soothing fleece fabric. The ten-inch-tall pets are quick, easy, and inexpensive to make—and they require no food, no water, nothing more than the most basic sewing skills, since they’re all made with a simple two-piece pattern. Each huggable pet also has its own special outfit: Squealy the Pig wears a bikini, Rumble the Bear is seen around town in overalls, and Leapy the Frog is ready for any weather in a yellow raincoat. Step-by-step photos guide readers through the entire process of making each pet and its outfit. Instructions on how to make a variety of stylish accessories—a poncho, hats, mittens, scarves, even jewelry—ensure that each pet will be well dressed for any occasion. Want more friends…in different sizes? Colors? Shapes? The Fleecie Pet Workshop section explains how to customize pets to make replicas of real animals, to create other species, or to build a whole family of pets in different sizes. Beginners and even kids will have a whole herd of new friends sewn up in no time!
