She completed a degree in fashion design and then a Master's degree in Illustration. She has been a mural painter, decorative effects painter, and general freelance artist, but now she concentrates on children's book illustrating and greeting card designs.

With her figurative style, she likes to highlight movement or a characteristic quirk by drawing with a sketchy line over a watercolor or ink base.
