Finding Peace in Our Lives

"While we yearn for peace, we live in a world burdened with hunger, pain, anguish, loneliness, sickness, and sorrow," writes Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But, he adds, "Despite dismal conditions in the world and the personal challenges that come into every life, peace within can be a reality." The chapters in Finding Peace in Our Lives, drawn from general conference addresses and other messages Elder Wirthlin has delivered to the Church, illustrate some of the things we must do to find peace with God, with our fellow beings, and within ourselves.
