Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

"How should a poet properly live and write? What is his relationship to be to his own voice, his own place, his literary heritage and to his contemporary world?" These are the questions addressed by Seamus Heaney in this collection of his critical prose. There are essays from three previous collections of prose and from "The Place of Writing", a series of lectures delivered in 1988 at Emory University. Also included are several pieces not previously collected in volume form, ranging from short newspaper articles to more extended lectures and contributions to books, including "Place and Displacement" (1984), only available previously as a pamphlet, and "Burns's Art Speech", written for the bicentennial of Robert Burns's death. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
