When Uncle Peter plays a trick on Aliesa and hides Alfie, everyone helps to look for him. There is only one problem: Uncle Peter doesn't remember where he hid him! In this Little Aliesa adventure, Uncle Peter must promise never to play tricks again. 'Little Bob' books are true adventures and stories taken from the authors' own experiences or told on behalf of their many friends. Each has its own lesson... though not always the one you would expect. The series celebrates the wonder of ordinary and not-so-ordinary childhood experiences. This second book in the series recounts the story of Aliesa and her search for Alfie. Uncle Peter is now Bob's father-in-law and still plays tricks. This is a bilingual Chinese/English version.

Bob Gardiner is the author and illustrator of the 'Little Bob' series of books and has lived his own lifetime of adventures. Bob is a retired primary and secondary teacher with an abiding interest in children's literature, both from his teaching days and reading to his own children. He can still quote you lines from his primary school readers! Bob takes all the blame for the quirky illustrations and likes to remind people that he failed art in both school and teachers' college, but has come to love it again.
