Three Volumes with unclipped dust jackets in very good condition. The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of The King. Cloth hardcovers, 423 pages, 352 pages, 416 pages respectively, with folding maps of Middle Earth at the rear of each volume, all very bright. Gilt lettering to the spines. Fellowship is a December 1954 2nd impression. Towers is a 1956 4th impression and Return a November 1955 2nd impression. Board corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed, and boards are somewhat blemished. Foxing to page blocks, pastedowns and endpapers. All jackets are priced 21s net, and stated 'Third Impression', except for Return which has no impression stated. Jackets are marked and discoloured, particularly the spines, and edges and spine ends are somewhat torn, with chips to the ends of Fellowship.
