Not content with just one, the eschatologists at Planet Scumm have collected a full TEN tales of apocalypses both literal and figurative, bloody and benign, public and personal. Elsewhere, someone sips at coffee while a customer disappears into a jigsaw puzzle, and an emergency responder sprays an injured victim down with a cure-all concocted at too high a cost.

But not every world ends with a bang. For some, the apocalypse comes quietly, no louder than a bird's dawn chorus, or the gentle burbling of a fish tank. Then again, for those who like certitude in their cataclysms, you can't go wrong with the chthonic grinding of an unseen earth-mover, or the clang of sharpened bronze against sweaty steel.

Who do you talk to, at the end? Some may find only themselves to blame, especially if they see themselves in every shadowed corner, and behind every shattered screen.
