For four decades, Dr. Lothar Gassmann has interpreted and explained entire books of the Bible or parts thereof in his sermons. The result of this rich work is presented in this series of commentaries, with a total of 32 volumes planned (12 on the Old Testament, 20 on the New Testament).
This series is characterized by three features:

• It takes God's Word seriously as it is written and avoids any form of biblical criticism.
• It bridges the gap between the Bible and the present day and provides numerous practical tips for our lives based on God's Word.
• Because it is originally based on freely delivered sermons, it is easy for every reader to understand.
