She earned her law degree from the Bolt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of Dog Law, The Deeds Book, 8 Ways to Avoid Probate, and the legal manual for Living Trust Maker and co-author of How to Adopt Your Stepchild in California and 9 Ways to Avoid Estate Taxes. She has been a guest on The Today Show and has been interviewed by many publications, including The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Examiner, and more. She has also written articles for magazines, including Redbook. Mary Randolph currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
