Printed wrappers, folio, 30 cm, 29 leaves, chiefly ills and facs. From the text: "In the Kilkenny section of my "Greenback" printing history study (Volume 10: 1989) The First Printers in Waterford, Cork and Kilkenny, I recorded George Sarrazin as printing for the Jesuits in Kilkenny in 1647, and, to the Jesuits' anger, with the press being taken over by the Confederate Catholics for the ir own urgent purposes. I give reasons for thinking that the printing type and apparatus of this Kilkenny press was perhaps left unmanned (to be used by William Smith in Kilkenny in 1649) but I speculate that Sarrazin himself and his fellow Jesuit printing workers may have been ordered to return to the continent with Rinuccini, the Pope's envoy to Ireland, who left Kilkenny in 1648.".
