Ten-year-old Evie has a talent for finding trouble—and this yearr, she’s about to discover that even a simple act of kindness can turn into something much bigger.

Join Evie and her friends in this series as they volunteer their way around town, meeting fascinating people, making new friends, helping those who need it, and learning a few unexpected lessons along the way. From animal shelters to nursing homes, food pantries, libraries, and more, no place is safe from Evie’s curious mind, big heart, and occasional mischief!

In Book 5: Public Library, Evie volunteers at the local library, where she meets plenty of interesting people—and one coworker who isn't exactly easy to work with.

When an unfortunate accident sidelines the library director, Evie decides she needs to find a way to cheer her up. But putting her plan into action means dealing with an uncooperative coworker who isn't expecting what Evie has in store.
