Do you know why you react the way you do? Do you know how you can stop your unwanted reactions, such as anger, irritation, procrastination - or feeling insecure or rejected? And would you also like to know why other people react the way they do? In this book you will learn about a model of 9 personality types, called the Enneagram. The model not only describes the behaviour of these 9 types, but the underlying, and often totally unknown, motivation for this behaviour. Awareness of the motivation, and of behavioural patterns, will give readers a tool for making the change they want. Knowledge of the 9 personality types also gives an understanding of why people of other types react the way they do, and how to improve one's communication with them. This is useful to everyone who is interested in psychology, personal development and communication.

Helene Makani has taught the Enneagram since 1997, and has played a major role in spreading knowledge of the Enneagram in Scandinavia, Belarus and Russia. She is a well-known Enneagram specialist, and her book has sold in more than 15.000 copies in Danish and Russian versions.
