Easter Hop & Find (I Spy with My Little Eye)

Look, find, search, and laugh with the Easter Bunny and his tightly-wound chick helper, as they travel around delivering eggs and treats on Easter morning! Follow along through 12 busy scenes as they begin their day at the Easter factory, before visiting the farm, the forest, the city, and even a riverboat community while taskmaster Chick attempts to keep them to their tight schedule. Is there anything that can help poor Chick relax a little? Maybe if he takes a moment to stop and smell the daffodils and enjoy some of the fun, he’ll realize this is already the perfect Easter Day!

With look and find exercises to help children count, match, and learn colors, this series keeps kids engaged while aiding in language development. I Spy is designed to be a fun, educational experience for kids of all ages, whether they can already read on their own or need someone to read to them. Melanie is an American artist born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan. She has been drawing since she was a little girl. Back then, her favorite canvas was pavement and go-to tool was sidewalk chalk. Nowadays, Melanie works digitally but also enjoys creating artwork with watercolor, markers, colored pencils, and acrylic paint. Oh, and sometimes a pinch of glitter too! Melanie is a 2013 graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan where she earned a BFA in Illustration before relocating to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career as an illustrator and designer. Melanie is most interested in work that has a positive impact on children - including animation, games, publications, and products. She enjoys cooking, sci fi movies, and exploring LA with her friends. When she isn't illustrating, you might find her hunting for shells and unique rocks on the beach! Melanie is also very fond of animals, especially her little black cat, Pepper.

Cottage Door Press is an independent publisher of high-quality children's books. Our books are designed to spark curiosity in the littlest readers and fan the flames of lifelong learning. We understand children deserve our respect. That's why we always select artwork and stories that encourage caregivers to "read up" to their little ones--exploring interests together, learning together, and giving their young minds room to grow.

We also believe in creating stories that reflect the boundless possibilities of all children. We hope to create books that inspire little ones to connect, encourage them to dream, give them cause to celebrate, and allow them to see themselves beautifully reflected in the stories they read.

To bring these beautiful stories to life, our diverse and talented staff collaborates with authors and illustrators from all backgrounds and nationalities. We have also partnered with multicultural brands and literacy organizations to make sure our books reflect and reach as many little ones as possible.
