Teach Yourself Dutch Dictionary contains a comprehensive vocabulary for working Dutch. There are approximately 17,000 words in the Dutch-English section and about 14,000 in the English-Dutch, though the actual number of equivalents is far greater than this, and certainly enough for everyday use. Special care has been taken to include idiomatic usage so that this dictionary is extensive in its coverage but also concise and practical to use.
There is a special section on sounds and spelling and a concise Dutch grammar section for easy reference.
This edition has been updated by the authors of the bestselling Teach Yourself Dutch, Teach Yourself Beginner's Dutch and Teach Yourself Dutch Grammar to include the most recent usage of the language and make grammar explanations clearer.
