Jean Holmes is a practicing attorney in Tulsa Oklahoma. Her father was a veterinarian in

Indiana, and her mother raised pedigreed dachshunds for many years. Jean has her B.A.

from Mills College, J.D. from SUNYAB law school, and practiced law in Kentucky before

she moved to Oklahoma to teach at Oral Roberts University law school in 1981. Jean has

written other articles and booklets, in addition to writing court briefs and appeals in her

law practice. Jean has hosted a Christian call-in radio talk show, been a Bible teacher and

lay speaker for many years. Jean loves people, animals and her Lord Jesus. A variety of

animals -- from dogs and cats to horses and pet crows -- have been Jean's friends and

companions. Currently three Siamese cats run her household.
