AN affectionate and grateful recollection of the uniform kindness and indulgence which I have experienced from you, during the course of my ministry, for sixteen years - the duty which I owe to myself - and to a family who are necessarily involved in Whatever affects me, have impelled me to lay before you such infor= mation and documents as Will, 'i trust, efi'ectu ally remove the misconception of my motives, and the misapprehension of the principles upon Which I acted, in the celebration of a late mar riage.
