“Not A Christian Novel by any stretch of the imagination… this book was listed as Christian Fantasy. That’s the only thing “Christian” about it. Besides the author writes erotica. I would not recommend this book to anyone who considers to be a “Christian”.
This type of criticism, judgment, and ignorance has led many people from Christ, God, and Religion entirely… This Christian Nationalist is saying, a story about angels fighting demons, praying to Jesus, and submitting to God, not Christian? This explains why American Christians hate a Pope who preaches kindness. This person has not read this book, nor The Bible. And sadly, this is the reality of many White Christian Nationalists. They have never read the bible. In America, the term “Christian” is often conflated with a racist white supremacist, misogynist transphobe using European Paganism, and Cesare Borgia to justify their murder, genocide, and imperialism. Christianity started in the horn of Africa, and when it came to Europe, the Europeans persecuted Christians for centuries, then merged it with European Paganism to create the Frankenstein religion that preaches murder is wrong when it comes to victims of rape and incest, but justify the mass genocide and enslavement by cherrypicking Bible verses.
This is the story of a Black Angel Detective, Enoch Carter (inspired by The Book of Enoch). Enoch is a servant of Jesus, working in the Suicide Prevention Unit, at SPU.
Enoch must face off against the machinations of Lilith, the first woman seeking revenge for being the first pawn to fall for Satan’s deception. Working with Jezebel and Ahab for world domination. This book is a testament to redemption, prayer, overcoming, and how we have gotten here as True Believers of Christ, not Racist White Supremacism.
So, no this is not a Christian Novel by any stretch of the imagination, it’s far less than 50,000 words. It is a Christian Fantasy Noir Mystery, a bridge to Christ inspired by Invincible, The Bible, The Apocryphal Texts, Modern Events, and The Walking Dead.
I have written in a multitude of genres, but my first best-selling book, “Best Friends”, one of the first books I ever released was a “Black Christian Romance” #1 Amazon Bestseller. The story led to people fixing their relationships, women understanding men better than ever before, and people getting married. This story “Divine Intercession” has endless potential to do similar work in people’s lives. And it’s blocked by someone who never even opened the book. And responded to the blurb of an Amazon Ad and decided to leave a one-star review without reading a single word. It’s completely illogical and unwarranted that the DNF, and Never Read The Book At All “readers” can leave reviews at all. People have made anti-intellectualism a culture.
I recommend you at least try the book, and if you don’t like it great! There are probably a myriad of things to be worked on, and fixed in all my books. But don’t be an inconsiderate ignoramus by feeling entitled to never reading a book, not finishing the same book, and then leaving a horrible review so others can share in your ignorance. No story is perfect but this review was made without the person even reading it. And because of them, only 5 people have dared to read the book since its creation.
