Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Starting in the 1970s, the founders of a non-profit group called the Life Extension Foundation began to uncover information that could be used to improve patient outcomes and, in many cases, prevent people from dying prematurely. Conveying this data to those with health problems often resulted in significant improvements in their condition.Since then, the Life Extension Foundation has identified enormous amounts of evidence indicating that effective, but overlooked approaches already exist to mitigate many of today's lethal diseases. This abundance of new scientific findings has created the need to publish an updated edition of our Disease Prevention and Treatment reference book. The Life Extension Foundation has spent tens of thousands of hours reviewing the scientific literature in order to develop the novel approaches to disease prevention and treatment in this book.
