Vom Autor: When I was first approached to write the book More Digital Food Photography I was a bit reluctant. I had never written a book before. After careful consideration I agreed to do it. From that moment on the clock was ticking. I had 7 months to distill a careers worth of knowledge into the book.  What I arrived at in the central thesis for the book was simple, most photographers are intimidated by food as a subject. My goal was to convey that even with digital tools we have today you still need to learn the fundamentals of photography in general. Taking bad images that are poorly lit and composed is easy. Many photographers today want to take the short cut and use image editing software to fill the gap. My main focus was to cast a wide net.  For writers bloggers and people who just want to take food photos for fun I wanted to give simple, clear and inexpensive solutions for doing that.  For people who want to takt it a step further I discuss advanced lighting and technique.  The result is a book for just about anyone that wants to approach food photography but were intimidated, anyone who wants to take their work to the next level.  In short it's a book I would have loved to have had my hands on when I was starting out.  I am proud of this book and I truly hope it helps people take better food images.  I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to give me honest critique.  Bill
