The Devil Never Asks (Bartholomew Jones)

When a baby's skeleton is discovered during an urban renewal project, DNA databases identify the child's parents. Michael, now a judge, claims that he and Margo were teenage "friends with benefits." But Margo, a housewife, claims Michael raped her repeatedly, resulting in a still-born baby that she buried in secret when she was only seventeen years old. Then, a second skeleton-this one an adult-is found at the same building site. As Police Detectives Bartholomew Jones and Helen Martin peel away the layers hiding the truth behind the possible homicide, they discover evidence linking several players in the second case to the baby's case: Is Margo possibly the killer of the unidentified man?
