In publisher's original cloth-backed boards. Externally, smart with slight bumping and rubbing, leading to subtle fraying and loss of cloth, and a few marks to boards. Internally, firmly bound with the exception of plates 22 and 23, which are marginally more fragile. Bright and clean with only light sporadic spotting throughout, heavier to front free endpapers and plates 22 and 23. Very Good.
