The Deliberate Truth is a compilation of Narrative Short Stories, Poetic Prose, and deeply honest confession. Some stories are bound geographically to the sleepy city of Olympia, Washington, where Sontag and Adams became friends and drew much of their creative inspiration, while others are consigned to the pages of the heart and the soul, relying on fantastic and philosophic elements of form. The Deliberate Truth, above all is two young minds' attempts at making sense of a frantic age, and the enigmatic challenges of life, love, and loss. Adams and Sontag demonstrate their externalization of the world through their work, offering a versatile depiction of the multitudinous nature of the truth with the striking juxtaposition of thoughtful and and poignant image and text.

Avery Adams currently resides in the deep south and loves to go fishing, take road trips, and spend lots of time with family when not writing.
