The Deeper Things of God: Unlocking the Secret's of God's Word

This book will challenge and encourage you to go deeper into your knowledge of God. There are many who can't accept that God is still able to teach you; if that is you, then this book is probably not for you. People grow to be hard-hearted in their beliefs and unable to grow in knowledge because they are unwilling to learn new and wonderful concepts from God's word. This book is also not intended for people without a foundation in Christianity. When you start your walk with God, you are on milk first. Then, you can continue building your relationship with Jesus, learning the basics and taking each step in general knowledge; this is necessary for all believers. You will first need to learn what the Bible says and why it is the absolute authority in our lives. This book is intended for the seasoned Christian seeking answers to those questions that you never seemed to be able to get an answer for.

• Why did God plant a tree of knowledge if He knew they would fall?
• What happens to people who never knew God?
• Why does God allow suffering?
• How can the Trinity be easily but actually understood?
• What happens to a person before, during, and after Salvation?
• How did God create the world?
• How should we understand the Kingdoms of God and Heaven?
• What was before or after our world?

There are many more questions we will cover. This is not intended to be an apologetic book but a book for Christian growth in knowledge from a brother in Christ. This book starts with the presupposition that the Word of God is God's perfect message to His people so that we can know Him personally. That God is real and ready to be in a relationship with us. Who sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, who is part of the trinitarian Godhead, to redeem us from death to life, and by the drawing of the Holy Spirit, we can be saved and ready to spend eternity with Him forever.

Most, or maybe all, of what is in this book will challenge what you have thought about the Bible. It may even differ from your current beliefs. If you disagree with it, I encourage you to prove it wrong by using the Bible alone. Don’t go to commentaries or proceed with an argument from a human authority. Seek out the scriptures and reason from that alone. It should be a rule of thumb on all things, but you should never believe what you hear or read without seeking scripture. Whether it is from your pastor, evangelist, scholar, or friend, you should be like the Bereans in Acts 17.

Keep your mind open to learning new things and being taught new things, but always with a mind of caution. Make sure it aligns with scripture before you accept it into your heart. Some of this will be hard to hear and definitely hard to accept. However, if you find it true, I plead with you to be ready to accept it and share it. If this is you, then be ready for a life-changing journey.
