“Need help … Come quickly!” the note from Goldus said. Responding to this summons, Jenn sets off to come to the aid of his friend and mentor. Joined by Fortis and Kalina, they ride to a distant, northern land. When they find Goldus, he asks them to rescue a colleague from the clutches of cold-blooded, sea-faring raiders. Their mission takes them to an island populated with nightmarish animals created by the twisted mind of a fiendish sorcerer. They witness battles that no sane mind could imagine. They venture into an ancient city where the danger increases as they encounter unnatural creatures from the furthest reaches of history.
