Daily Readings from Luther's Writings

Martin Luther s writings console us, surprise us, and make us uncomfortable, even as they nurture our faith. They constantly remind us that in Christ we are loved and forgiven. Luther wrote voluminously -- sermons, commentaries, lectures, and letters to friends, relatives, and colleagues. This year-long devotional volume samples many sources written at various times during Luther s busy life. The themes include vocation, God s Word, prayer, faith alone, good works, music, and the church. The selections are drawn from LUTHER S WORKS, American Edition, with minor adaptation and updating.
