Small 4to,170 x 120 mm, 6¾ x 5 inches, woodcut arms of the Commonwealth on title page and 2 woodcut headpieces, Epistle Dedicatorie by Samuel Hartlib and two letters to Weston at rear by Samuel Hartlib. Pages: [8], 1-27, [3], signatures: A-E4, lacks E4 blank endpaper, bound in modern morocco, gilt lettered label between raised bands to spine, blind decoration to covers, endpapers replaced when rebound. Binding faded especially the spine, foot of spine darkened and slightly chipped, top outer corner of title page repaired, small closed tear repaired and 2 other small minor repairs to blank side of title page, pale age-browning throughout, a good copy.
