Reseña del editor: In this project, an attempt is made to extend the flexibility provided by mobile phones in interpersonal communication to be applicable in electrical/electronic systems control. As two people in two different geographical locations can communicate using mobile phone, it would be of interest if this same communication system can be used by one to control the operation of electrical/electronic appliances remotely. To utilize the aforementioned opportunity, the Remote control system using SMS via GSM network for home electrical system (REMC-HOUSE) has been proposed. With the implementation of the REMC-HOUSE, user could easily control the electrical devices remotely. The REMC-HOUSE consists of phone, modem and computer. The three have been integrated such that they can be used to control electrical/electronic appliances in a home/house remotely.
