Carole Levitt is a nationally recognized author and speaker on Internet legal research. She has over twenty years of extensive experience in the legal field as a Law Librarian, Legal Research and Writing Professor (Pepperdine University School of Law), California Attorney and Internet Trainer. She is a skilled online searcher, focusing on legal, public record, investigative and business research. She is also co-author of The Lawyer’s Guide to Fact Finding on the Internet (A.B.A.).
As President and founder of Internet For Lawyers, she provides customized Internet research training to legal professionals (with continuing legal education credit). Ms. Levitt has made Internet research presentations at the A.B.A. TechShow; LegalWorks; LegalTech; the annual meetings of the A.B.A., The National Association of Bar Executives, the Association of Continuing Legal Education and the California State Bar Association; the worldwide Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher corporate attorney retreat; law firms, bar associations; and library associations throughout the country.
Ms. Levitt serves on the Executive Council of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section, as well as the section’s Publishing Board. Mark E. Rosch
As Vice President of Internet For Lawyers (IFL), Rosch is the developer and manager of the Internet For Lawyers Web site. He is the Editor of IFL’s newsletter, and writes and speaks about how to use the Internet for research and for marketing and also on technology implementation for the legal community. Additionally, he provides Electronic Marketing Consulting services to law practices of all sizes that seek to improve an online marketing campaign, increase the effectiveness of their current efforts, or optimize their Web sites to improve their Search Engine rankings.
During his nearly 20 years of marketing experience, Mr. Rosch has developed and supervised the publicity, promotions and marketing campaigns for numerous and varied clients, from legal portals to new media developers. He has also provided web management consulting to the State Bar of California Law Practice Management & Technology section’s Web site and various law firms and solo practitioners.
He has written on the subject of building and managing effective Web sites for the Legal Marketing Association, GP Solo, and Los Angeles Lawyer magazines. Mr. Rosch has also written about the application of computer technology in the law office for Law Office Computing, Los Angeles Lawyer, and the Los Angeles Daily Journal, among other publications.
