From the wren and the blue jay to the chickadee and the robin, the friends visit various songbirds, hoping to find out how Crow can sing. But it isn't until they get some help from the wise owl that they realize it will take all of them working together to do something great. Drawing on the charm of farm life in Vermont, this children's story of courage and friendship tell the tale of a crow who wants to learn how to sing.
