Crossroad: Angels can dance

Gabriel Newman is a retired doctor in the twilight of his life. His wife, Isabella, is desperately ill, and his struggles to come to terms with this painful truth coincide with the appearance of an imaginary companion named Celia.

In the wake of Isabella’s death, Gabriel’s interactions with Celia increase, and his daughters Beth and Grace are dismayed by their father’s apparent drift toward mental instability. However, Isabella’s sister, Lorri, enters into a caretaker role for Gabriel and is apparently undismayed by his mysterious, dreamlike experiences.

As close friends and other family members reveal their own imagined friends, a further tragic illness falls upon a member of the close-knit Newman clan. They each battle to deal with the events—both real and unreal—that put them face-to-face with questioning their own existence as the unfathomable and the implausible unfold before their very eyes.
