Jesus approved of testimonies when He was on earth. To a man who was previously demon-possessed, he said, “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” He did exactly that, and as time went on his testimony reached throughout the whole city, and perhaps, later on, further afield. The retelling of one’s personal experience of salvation is very powerful. By this means, believers on the Lord Jesus can be “ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20). Since 1985, and mostly by personal invitation, Neville has gathered stories from different men and women about their ‘encounter’ with God that resulted in personal salvation.By making these testimonies available, our prayer is that some might come to know Christ as their very own Saviour, and those that already belong to Him will be encouraged to tell again and again the great things God has done for them.
