This book, from cover to cover, is all about the great “I AM”, Jesus. But it’s more. It’s you having a personal and profound encounter with Jesus every day for forty days. It’s you actively engaging in a spiritual adventure with Jesus. It is forty days to become “I AM” crazy – crazy about Jesus! It seems like everyone today has their own idea about who Jesus is. From Fox News to the New York Times to our next door neighbor, everyone has their own opinion on Jesus: Lord, good teacher, crafty charlatan. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? Does it matter? What if Jesus is bigger than anyone’s opinion of Him? What if Jesus chose to introduce and explain Himself? How might He do it? We don’t have to guess because Jesus did just that. It does matter because He did it numerous times all in the writings of John. Here’s the adventure. Each day for the next forty days step into each distinct moment with Jesus as He reveals who He is to us and what He does for us with His famous “I AM” declarations, like: “I AM the Light of the world!” “I AM the Bread of Life!” “I AM the Good Shepherd!” “I AM the Gate!” “I AM the Resurrection and the Life!”
