Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Dr. P. J. Saher (Purvezji Jamshedji Saher) was an influential Indian philosopher and author known for his synthesis of Eastern mysticism and Western intellectual thought. He transitioned from a legal career to a life dedicated to research in yoga, Buddhism, and comparative religion. Born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Saher was a private figure who later chose to reveal himself primarily through his philosophical writings. He studied in England and Germany and initially pursued a career at the Bar. However, a growing urge to seek spiritual truth led him to abandon his legal post to study Sanskrit and Pali. His work was heavily influenced by Western thinkers like Martin Heidegger and Aldous Huxley, as well as the Indian philosopher Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
