Pages are heavily tanned and thumbed at the edges. Heavy foxing throughout. Slight staining to title page and frontis, which has a small hole. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Many dog-eared corners. Boards have been heavily rub worn, scratched and scuffed, with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Front board is detached. Notable loss to of spine leather and from board edges too.
