Here are the complete prophecies of Nostradamus. Nostradamus is the best known and most accurate mystic and seer of all times. There are those who say that he predicted Napoleon and even the attack on the World Trade Center. Read the prophecies and judge for yourself. "Since governments, sects and countries will undergo such sweeping changes, diametrically opposed to what now obtains, that were I to relate events to come, those in power now - monarchs, leaders of sects and religions - would find these so different from their own imaginings that they would be led to condemn what later centuries will learn how to see and understand." - Nostradamus
Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Nostradamus, born Michel de Nostredame in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in 1503, was a French physician, astrologer, almanac writer, and author whose name became synonymous with prophecy. Educated in the intellectual world of Renaissance France, he first became known as a medical practitioner during periods of plague, when physicians faced desperate conditions and limited remedies. His early reputation rested not only on medicine, but on his learning, travels, and wide engagement with the scientific, astrological, religious, and literary currents of the sixteenth century.Nostradamus is best known for Les Prophéties, first published in 1555, a collection of rhymed quatrains arranged in groups known as centuries. Written in dense, symbolic, multilingual, and often deliberately obscure language, the prophecies drew on astrology, biblical imagery, classical history, current events, folklore, and Renaissance traditions of divination. Their ambiguity helped give them extraordinary longevity: later readers repeatedly returned to the verses in times of war, revolution, plague, political upheaval, and cultural anxiety, seeking signs of events both past and future.During his lifetime, Nostradamus also produced popular almanacs that combined predictions, calendars, astrological material, and observations on public affairs. His fame reached the French court, where Catherine de' Medici showed interest in his work, helping secure his place among the most talked-about prophetic figures of Renaissance Europe. Whether regarded as a seer, poet, astrologer, symbolic writer, or historical curiosity, Nostradamus remains one of the most enduring figures in the literature of prophecy and the occult. He died in Salon-de-Provence in 1566, leaving behind a body of work that continues to fascinate readers interested in divination, astrology, Renaissance history, apocalyptic literature, and the long cultural life of prediction.
