Über diesen Titel

Is it possible to make multimillion-dollar profits outside of the United States? Can you earn that money discreetly—without intrusion from Uncle Sam? And can you protect those assets from unfair lawyers, family members, and even your spouse in the event of a divorce?

The answer to all these questions is ?Yes!? The secret is to put your money to work where it will generate the largest return—in one of the world?s many offshore money havens

In this completely revised and updated edition of his runaway bestseller, leading financial expert Jerome Schneider shows exactly how you can use the same international business strategies and tactics that have earned billions for America?s most prestigious banks, corporations, and business people. He covers various ways to enter the foreign market, ranks the world?s top offshore money havens, offers tips on how to avoid the common pitfalls of international business, and tells dozens of stories about creative men and women who have easily and successfully invested abroad.

A wonderful starting place for anyone ready to take the most essential step in profit planning, The Complete Guide to Offshore Money Havens, Revised and Updated is also a worthwhile update for experienced offshore investors who want to learn the latest developments in the international financial arena.

About the Author

Jerome Schneider is the world?s leading authority on offshore banking and investing. In 1977 he introduced the concept of establishing private international banks for profit, privacy, and legal tax protection in his book How to Profit and Avoid Taxes by Organizing Your Own Private International Bank. Since then, he has written five additional books and more than 700 articles on the subject. His ideas have been discusses on CNN and CNBC, and he?s appeared on ABC Radio and the Business Radio Network. He has also advised the heads of five separate offshore governments on rewriting their tax and banking laws to entice global investors. Mr. Schneider lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Offshore money havens are not just for millionaires anymore: they're for people who want to become millionaires or even more by taking advantage of loopholes afforded by the banking policies and secrecy laws of nations such as Aruba, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Vanuatu. The book is filled with practical information and testimonials of formerly average Joes and Josephines who are now fabulously wealthy thanks to these money havens.

I'm not a tax lawyer, and my personal worth is not much greater than the resale value of the books on my shelves, so I'm not at all qualified to verify the utility or legality of this books advice. However, people worldwide doseem to be buying this book by the boxload. Schneider promises to tell you "how to escape nuisance lawsuits, exorbitant taxes, and increasing invasions of privacy by investing offshore." If I were more interested in becoming fabulously wealthy than reading books, I'd probably be lounging in my Portuguese castle with this book by my side at all times (and a beautiful heiress wife, a limo, a helicopter--and a lawyer on retainer).
