A Colour Atlas of Respiratory Diseases

The second edition of this Atlas continues to encompass the correlation of symptoms, physical signs, X-rays, and histology of all respiratory diseases. Since publication of the first edition there have been major developments in imaging techniques used in this field and the appearance of new conditions such as AIDS. New sections on areas of the latest research have been added to the second edition covering areas such as HIV and Immuno-compromised lung disease, parasitic diseases of the lung, occupational lung disease and Cystic Fibrosis. The content has been expanded to bring the Atlas up-to-date, and now includes chapters on CT, scanning of the thorax, adult respiratory distress syndrome, intensive care manoeuvres, critical care, and AIDS. In addition, many chapters have been revised to take account of recent developments and to present a balanced view of the subject.
