PLEASE NOTE: This book is an abridged version of Comprehensive Care from Puppy to Senior, by the same author. The book is therefore intended for anyone who has already previously bought a complete guide, but is now looking for a more detailed, comprehensive or perhaps new and different approach to training and understanding their Cockapoo.
This book is probably the most DETAILED, SPECIFIC, COMPREHENSIVE & COMPLETE COCKAPOO TRAINING MANUAL AVAILABLE
The book covers everything you need to know to successfully TRAIN & UNDERSTAND your Cockapoo.
This book is unique as it includes both BASIC obedience & ADVANCED GUN DOG TRAINING in one jargon free, easy to follow program. PLEASE NOTE: The Cockapoo as such is not a Gundog/sporting dog, but the parent breed Cocker Spaniel is. The other relation being the Poodle, was originally used as a water dog retriever. The Standard Poodle in particular was originally known as a Retriever/Gundog. The book has therefore been written to include the most Gundog/sporting dog breed specific training currently available that will doubtlessly appeal greatly to the Cockapoo.
The basic obedience training will maintain an obedient, well mannered dog. The advanced training program is identical to the type of training used by professional Gundog trainers and is one of the best methods available for maintaining ultimate control of any dog. However, you are not necessarily training your dog to hunt, but following the type of training that the Cockapoo parent breeds excel at and love to do, and the Cockapoo is also bound to excel at. All presented in a very user friendly, fun, easy to follow step by step format. The advanced training will give your dog the type of training that they will love & at least the parent breeds, were bred to follow, ensuring a motivated, stimulated, happy & healthy dog.
The book also contains dedicated and detailed chapters relating to Socialisation, Toilet Training, behavioural problems and how to deal with them, necessary equipment, and everything else you will need to know to prepare for success
So whether you just want a well behaved house dog or want to delve into more advanced aspects of training & management, you will find it all here!!
The book is written & compiled by a very experienced dog trainer, behaviourist and owner.
The training is entirely based on POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT. So no harsh methods or corrections are used or recommended
Includes all the help and advice as you are likely to need whether you are a prospective dog owner or already have a dog and are looking for extra help and guidance beyond the basics.
A dedicated BONUS CHAPTER is included, summarising and walking you through what to expect and things you will need to do, each week from day one until your puppy matures.
Initial obedience covers everything you are likely to need if you are limited for time and simply want a well behaved dog.
The advanced training chapter is given if you wish to progress into more challenging training areas which your dog will love!
The objective is to provide you and your dog with the type of training that this breed greatly benefits from and replicates what these dogs were originally bred to do and are happiest doing.
The additional emphasis and objective of the book is providing the average pet owner who is looking for information on understanding the breed and how to best care for and deal with their new dog.
By the time you finish this book you will be fully equipped with the knowledge to be the best Cockapoo owner you can be.
So whether you are looking for basic instruction or more advanced advice, you will find it all here.

We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
