In 2014, the trade magazine, ‘Coaching at Work’ awarded him a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for services to mentoring and in 2018, he was ‘Highly Commended’ as an external coach/mentor also by ‘Coaching at Work’ magazine. Paul Stokes is a Principal Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. He is the Research Lead for the Department of Management within Sheffield Business School, as well as leading the MSc Coaching & Mentoring at the University. He is an experienced coach, mentor and supervisor as well as a designer and evaluator of many coaching and mentoring programmes within organizations, including his own. In 2016 he was awarded a PhD for his pioneering research into the skilled coachee.
David Megginson is Emeritus Professor of HRD at Sheffield Hallam University. He is co-founder of the former EMC (European Mentoring Centre), an Ambassador for the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) and the founder of the Coaching and Mentoring Research Unit. David is a dedicated listener, an experienced coachmentor and obsessive runner.
