The Self Coaching Revolution: Say Goodbye to Limitations and Rewrite Your Story

This book is for you if you want:

• More success at work and in life.
• To unleash your potential and rewrite your story.
• To drive your own growth.
• Lasting change, but don't know how to go about it.

Working with an experienced coach is a proven approach to drive personal and professional growth. Coach Your Self Up teaches you an impactful new form of coaching -- "self coaching" -- so you can coach yourself anyplace, anytime, and anywhere.

The ideas and interactive practices presented in this book are based on Mike Normant's Coach Your Self Up training program. The book is intended to be worked through, not just read. You'll choose one behavior you want to shift and coach yourself on it throughout the book.

Here are just a few common self-limiting behaviors where you can coach yourself to lasting change.

• I'm not a good listener and/or I frequently interrupt others and/or I'm easily distracted when interacting with others.
• I don't speak up in meetings (or, I talk too much in meetings).
• I get visibly frustrated easily and often.
• I'm unable to say "no" (when it's a viable and reasonable option).
• I don't solicit advice or help from others, even when it would be wise to do so.
• I hold on to tasks/projects that could be effectively delegated.
• I stay overly involved in the detailed work of one or more of my direct reports (micro-managing).
• I avoid discussing performance concerns with one or more of my direct reports.

After working through this book, you can expect the following outcomes:

You will gain a repeatable set of techniques and skills that you can use for the rest of your life to make behavior changes that positively impact your success.

You will shift how you "see" yourself and the world. You'll discover that your self-limiting beliefs are not the facts you think they are. Instead, they are stories based on your life experiences; stories that are blocking your growth and are ripe to be challenged. This shift in perspective can be transformational!

Other outcomes include:

• Positive shifts in one of your self-limiting behaviors (you'll have worked on it through the book)
• Improved attention management (a key building block of the self-coaching path)
• Increased emotional intelligence (self-awareness and empathy)
• Enhanced interpersonal relationships (as you improve your presence / focus and gain appreciation for seeking others' perspectives)
• Enhanced decision-making capability (as you learn to discern stories from facts)
• Strengthened ability to coach others (applying self-coaching techniques to others)
• Improved ability to be coached (your heightened self-awareness will help you get more from being coached)

Bottom Line:
By learning to be your own coach, you can make ongoing lasting changes to become more successful and realize more of your potential.

This is more than "good" for you. These self coaching techniques are an amazing set of skills to add to your "life toolkit." Pick up your copy of Coach Your Self Up today by clicking the BUY NOW button at the top of this page.
